Six Outstanding Blogger Awards?

Hello humans of blogtopia so we’re super confused right now. Somehow I received not one, not two, not three, but six outstanding blogger awards. I realize how unfair it is seeing as I was on a hiatus the whole time I was receiving these and if I could give these all back I would but that’s a tiny bit difficult and I need to get these done so today we are attempting six awards. Thank you so so so so much to all of the people who tagged me, including Sam @ Literary Delirium, Rachel @ A Bookworm’s Paradise, Riddhi @ Whispering Stories, Isabella @ All You Need is Books and Love, April @ Booked Till Midnight, and Phoenix @ Books With Wings. Love you guys!

First Questions

Sam: What genre of books would you associate the winter season with?

Hmmm I’d have to say fantasy. It definitely seems like the genre you would sit in a warm blanket and drink a cup of hot coco with.

Rachel: What are your other hobbies besides reading?

I feel like I’ve answered a question kind of like that before with the same answer, but I love playing sports, in particularly soccer. I also love to write when I’m in the mood.

Riddhi: Dogs or cats?

Isabella: Favorite food?

Ahhhhh hmm. I love ahi tuna so we’re going with that because it’s delicious.

April: What is an oddly specific trope you adore?

Ummmmm honestly I don’t know??

Phoenix: What’s the weirdest idea for a book you’ve ever read?

You expect me, the queen of weird book ideas to answer that? Hmm there was one I found in my notes app earlier that’s set in the future and overpopulation is dawning. To drop the population count the people who I guess just rule the entire world get groups of people who are a certain age and put them in an enclosed house/area with an assassin and their goal is to figure out who is is before they kill everyone. Now that I think about it it sounds quite a bit like a book version of among us 😂 Who knows when I came up with that.

Second Questions

Sam: If you could delete one scene in a book, what would it be?

Dang that’s a hard one. Ummmm I’d have to say the one scene in Eliza and her Monsters where she tells Wallace she’s LadyConstellation and he gets mad at her. I wanted her to tell him so much soonerrrr.

Rachel: If you could write a book about ANYTHING, what would you write about? (you’ve to assume people WILL read your book, even if the theme is a little weird different)

Definitely not the among us book from earlier 😂 I’d love to be able to finish the book I’m attempting to write about an assassin from a neighboring kingdom attempting to kill of the royal family of one kingdom so that her kingdom could take over, but you know that’s never going to get finished

Riddhi: Favorite genre of music?

Umm that’s actually kind of difficult. I’d say pop, because it’s what I listen to most, but lately I’ve definitely been branching out

Isabella: Favorite thing to do in your town?

I love to go visit all of the tourist attractions in my city, even though I’ve lived here all my life and been to all of them several times lol

April: What’s your favorite figure of speech?

April’s really trying to give me some hard questions here huh. I really don’t have one 🤷‍♀️

Phoenix: What’s a food that everyone likes but you don’t?

Third Questions

Sam: What fictional character do you think you would get along with worst?

Mmm that’s also hard. Probably Wade from Ready Player One.

Rachel: Which is a series you could binge-watch forever?

Riddhi: What’s your favorite book genre?

For the most part, fantasy.

Isabella: Favorite short story?

I’ve read so few short stories in my life, I really couldn’t say. Umm I guess we’ll go with the short story Phoenix posted on her blog 😂

April: What’s your favorite song right now?

Phoenix: What do you do to get inspiration? (for writing a story, doing homework, whatever)

Um I don’t and then I procrastinate it till the last minute.

Fourth questions

Sam: What is a genre that you’d like to read more of in 2021?

Probably contemporary (I know I know it’s the middle of 2021 but I still need to work on that)

Rachel: Spell your name out with books that you loved. (Eg. I would start with R- Ravaana by Amish Tripathi and continue with A C H E and L)

*when you like about zero books that start with l or i or y*

Riddhi: Describe your Covid experience in 4 words

Depressing depressing depressing depressing

Isabella: Unique talent?

Reading way more than any of the kids in my school??

April: What season is your favorite?

Phoenix: Have you ever spoken to an author? (IRL or through email or goodreads or anything) If so, who and what did you say to them?

My grandma wrote a book nobody knows about 😎 but other than that no

Fifth questions

Sam: How would you describe your reading year in a gif?

Ehh GIFs | Tenor

Rachel: If you could time travel either to the making of the earth/beginning of life or to the destruction of earth/ending of all life, which one would you choose?

Riddhi: Any advice for me on how I can improve my blog and my writing work? Which blog category keeps you captured for sometime, if any?

She always manages to sneak that in somehow 😂 If I had to give you on thing it’d be more variety in posts, but your blog is perfect the way it is!

Isabella: Coffee or tea?

April: Book quote you absolutely adore?

“Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you’ll meet a boy who will learn your favorite flower, your favorite song, your favorite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won’t matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart.” – Six of Crows

Phoenix: If you could tell a character in a book one thing before the story took place, what character would it be and what would you say?

I would tell Katniss may the odds ever be in your favor and you’ll end up winning and trust Peeta and… that’s probably too much but you get my point.

Sixth Question

Sam: What is a book that you’d recommend to people that are new to the YA genre?

Six of Crows. No mourners, no funerals

Rachel: What would the name of your autobiography/biography/biopic be?

Lilly: The Conqueror of the World

Riddhi: Apparently Riddhi stopped at five

Isabella: Penpal or texts?

Omg these days it takes me five hours to write out anything by hand. Text.

April: If you had a sword, what would you name it?

Sankta Alina because you can never have too much Six of Crows

Phoenix: Tell us a one sentence horror story (kinda a classic I know)

All of your books burned.

Seventh Question

Sam: Share a quote from one of your favourite books!

See above

Rachel: Which is your favourite ice cream flavour?

Ooh I have to go with salted caramel.

Isabella: Favorite hobby?

April: If you could turn into any food for the day, what would it be?

Imagine being a marshmallow. How cool would that be?

Phoenix: What’s your favorite blog post that you’ve written in the past three months?

The one announcing I was back from hiatus.

My taggets:

My questions:

  • Go to snack?
  • Comfort read?
  • What’s a weird bookish habit you have?
  • All time favorite character?
  • Favorite post you’ve made yet?
  • Something very embarrassing and regrettable you did?
  • And finally, where’s your favorite spot to read?

Unfortunately I couldn’t give more than six because I feel like the people I’m tagging is getting repetitive and I need to do some serious blog hopping apparently.

Anyway, thank you guys for reading this lengthy post. It was a lot, but I needed to knock some things off my list, and how better to do that than with the award I have six tags on? As always, I’d love to discuss with you about my answers! As for tomorrow’s typical review post, it’s possible we still post the review, but also stay tuned for something we’ve never seen before… could it be? An unboxing?

Honestly though it depends on my mood and how busy I am. I might not have the willpower to draft up an entire unboxing. We’ll see. Cio for now!!

  1. This was so fun to read! I loved the Shadow and Bone gushing, the ranting about Eliza not telling Wallace about being Lady Constellation (seriously, though, Wallace could have been more understanding! And what were Eliza’s parents thinking?? 😳), and pretty much everything else, too 😂 I don’t think I’d want to be a marshmallow, though. With the heat wave in Europe right now, I can imagine just fine what being a hot, sticky mess feels like 😅
