Me getting a schedule/Music monday #1

Hi fellow bibliophiles! So I’ve been thinking for a while about getting an actual schedule because I’ve tended to either post way to often or not frequently enough. More so of the latter. So, I decided that I would make a schedule and while I was at it, also participate in an extremely fun weekly post hosted by Drew @ The Tattooed Book Geek.

This border looks like crap and I know it, I just have no inspiration for one. Any ideas?

My Schedule

So we are going to start off with me trying and most likely failing to create a nice little schedule. So what I think is going to happen is that all of my posts from here on out will be posted at noon PST. I think that there’s going to be a post everyday for most of the week.

Monday

I believe that I will be doing Music Monday, and then because it’s short I can throw in whatever post I need to, like if I got tagged on something and hadn’t done it yet I could post it, or if there was an extra review that I hadn’t posted for some reason I could post it. Stuff like that.

Tuesday

I’m going to do Top Ten Tuesday because it’s really fun and laid back, basically you get a bookish prompt for a list and you post your list of the ten things that you picked for that prompt on Tuesday, hence the name.

Wednesday

I believe that I’ll either do WWW Wednesday or take a break, depending on if I’m in a lazy mood or not that day. WWW Wednesday is just a weekly post where I answer three questions: What I’m currently reading, What I recently finished, and What I think I’m going to read next.\

Thursday

I’m going to use Thursday for tags, I would move it over to Tuesday but I want to do Top Ten Tuesday and I know most bloggers do tags on Thursday. I also recently learned that you can jump in on tags, you don’t have to have someone tag you so I’m not going to run out of tags anytime soon πŸ˜‚.

Friday

Friday is going to be when I post my reviews, if I don’t have a review recently written I have a couple that I wrote before starting this blog so we should be good but if I ever don’t have a review to post I’ll just skip Friday.

Saturday-Sunday

Saturday through Sunday will be break days, or if I have some extra posts I’ll post those on these days, but I think most of the time I’m going to want to be lazy and not post anything. Although, right now I’m thinking about doing Just Some Bibliophilic Things on Saturday.

Alright, thank you for struggling through that with me, I just wanted you to know what I will be posting and when because I have not had a consistent schedule recently. Onto the fun part of the post!

Again, any ideas?

Music Monday

So as I’ve said, this is a weekly post hosted by Drew @ The Tattooed Book Geek. Basically, I get to share with you every week one of my favorite songs at the moment. The genre and theme changes a lot, so get ready for a massive roller coaster πŸ˜‚.

Today’s song is:

Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran

Official Music Video:

Lyrics:

When I was six years old I broke my leg
I was running from my brother and his friends
And tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass I rolled down
I was younger then, take me back to when I

Found my heart and broke it here
Made friends and lost them through the years
And I’ve not seen the roaring fields in so long, I know I’ve grown
But I can’t wait to go home

I’m on my way
Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to “Tiny Dancer”
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it’s real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

Fifteen years old and smoking hand-rolled cigarettes
Running from the law through the backfields and getting drunk with my friends
Had my first kiss on a Friday night, I don’t reckon that I did it right
But I was younger then, take me back to when

We found weekend jobs, when we got paid
We’d buy cheap spirits and drink them straight
Me and my friends have not thrown up in so long, oh how we’ve grown
But I can’t wait to go home

I’m on my way
Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to “Tiny Dancer”
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it’s real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill

One friend left to sell clothes
One works down by the coast
One had two kids but lives alone
One’s brother overdosed
One’s already on his second wife
One’s just barely getting by
But these people raised me and I can’t wait to go home

And I’m on my way, I still remember
These old country lanes
When we did not know the answers
And I miss the way you make me feel, it’s real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill

I’ve been listening to this song way too much for it to be healthy recently πŸ˜‚. I just think it’s a really sweet song and I love it. Not that that says much, because I love most of Ed Sheeran’s songs. Thank you guys for reading and have a good book! (Does that sound stupid? If it doesn’t that’s my new catchphrase πŸ˜‚)

  1. Wow, that is a very well thought out schedule! Sounds like a lot of fun. I haven’t heard of Castle on a Hill but will go give it a listen! πŸ˜†
